Our Eco-Apparel Certifications

Our Eco-Apparel products are composed of a minimum of 70% organic or recycled materials, or material blends of both. We ensure the authenticity of our materials through valid certificates from trusted suppliers. To align with the latest sustainability initiatives in the industry, we exclusively accept products from suppliers who provide GOTS or OCS certificates at this time. For products made of recycled materials, our standards accept GRS or RCS certificates. Commited to staying current with sustainable industry practices, we follow the efforts of our partners and suppliers and routinely update our policies and products.

What do these certificates mean?

  • The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers in both ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain. This standard also establishes limitations on what other fibers that can be blended with organic fibers.

  • The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a certification for non-food goods confirming the organic material presence in the final product. It also tracks supply chain from source to final product.

  • The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) are international, voluntary standards that set requirements for third-party certification of recycled content and supply chain. Their shared aims are to:

    • Align definitions of “recycled” across different applications.

    • Verify recycled content in products.

True to its name, Econscious is a mover, shaker, and big Changemaker in industry environmental responsibility efforts. All of their apparel is produced with organic or recycled fabrics, PETA-approved vegan and GOTS-certified, meeting stringent ethical and environmental standards. Kin Customs commitment to sustainability extends beyond products to include the well-being of their team members. Kin Custom operates each of their Quanzhou, factories allowing them to regularly audit and oversee working conditions. Additionally, they collaborate with SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) to ensure health, safety, and dignity in the working environment. SMETA maintains ethical global supply chain practices, including safe and sanitary workplaces, ethical business practices, and workers' knowledge of their labor rights.

Kin Custom’s ethical production process minimizes environmental impact and carbon footprint with a zero-inventory and use of ethically sourced materials. Each of their products are handmade ans shipped with 100% recyclable packaging certified by the FSC.

Printful

Printful aims to make on-demand manufacturing the standard for a world with limited resources and limitless creativity. Printful offers exceptional quality products made from organic and recyclable materials, maintain rigorous transparency and sustainability standards for their suppliers, and prioritize global industry education and social advancement. They have established a long-term partnership with Junior Achievement Latvia, a non-governmental organization specializing in business education in Latvian schools. Since 2013, they’ve welcomed high school students to our Latvia office once a year to showcase various job opportunities. Amongs their significant initiatives is the support of Baltic Pride, powering their Diversity shop and donating all proceeds to the Association of LGBT and MOZAIKA, the organization behind Baltic Pride.
